Non human visitors! Gotta love it

I am lucky to be able to spend at least 2 days on the water every week! I have been so blessed to have many visitors near the boat! Here are a few recent friends I’ve made! Share any pictures of new friends you’ve made!

Love it! I can honestly say it’s a blessing to witness things most people only get to read about. The manatees are always a treat—unless they really surprise you.

One day, I was fishing solo in a narrow creek. I had the boat tied up and was taking a break, just eating lunch and enjoying the peace. Out of nowhere, I heard a loud rush of air right behind me. Nearly tossing my lunch overboard, I jumped up and spun around—only to see two manatees right next to the boat.

Scared the hell out of me… and then made me laugh.

Never a dull moment on the water. Great pics!!

The dolphins in LA would splash us as we slowly motored down a creek. Probably mad at us!

Now that’s a great picture and amazing timing! I fish Louisiana two times every year and don’t see many porpoise, but I have come across those giant rats a time or two!
