After 25 years as a professional firefighter, I hung up my helmet in 2024. I’ve been guiding on and off since 1995 and will continue to do so on special occasions in retirement. These days, I enjoy writing about my outdoor experiences and have recently learned to step out of my comfort zone to share them. Fishing the Everglades and 10,000 Islands has captured my attention for over 30 years, but the Keys will always hold a special place in my heart.
