Just got it two Fridays ago. Only had it in the water once. Job keeps me busy…Had a 2016 Maverick, sold it during COVID for what I paid for it. My son has always been a fan of East Cape, so once I started shopping again it was high on the list. It’s skinny! Works great here in Jax. Still figuring it out. Put the first 4.5 hours on it last Friday.
It’s more tippy than my Maverick..but I can swim.

Congrats @Boomer, good looking rig! Have you had gimbal-mounted MFD’s before? I am considering not flush-mounting for the first time as the console of my upcoming build will only hold a 9". Looking for pros and cons I may not have thought of. Cheers.
To flush mount or not. Really wanted FMT. I have old eyes so I went with an SIMRAD EVO 3S 16. Wanted touch screen and tactile buttons and controls. Was worried it was too big for the console. It is not. I can view up to four different screens a time. Not that I do, I usually have the FMT chart up with the eng instrument page. I’ve only put a few hours on the boat so still figuring it out. So far so good. Gotta force myself to get me eye off the screen. After talking to folks I trust and Glen from FMT I went with the Balzout solution so I can take the unit off the boat if I need to. People will steal anything and the unit is expensive. I also want to be able to adjust it if I need to, so far it’s perfect. I’m ambidextrous so I use my right hand for the interface. It sits just above the throttle.
