For those recently initiated into the world of small skiffs, microskiffs or technical poling skiffs it’s useful to understand some terms us old timers use. You may find someone will comment on a post of yours and say “Looks Tippy”. It’s a good thing. Don’t worry, the poster isn’t trying to disrespect your post. It’s a colloquialism used to convey respect and admiration.
Post a cool skiff… Looks Tippy
Post a nice truck… Looks Tippy
Post a hot wife or girlfriend… Looks Tippy
That’s funny. I got that when I posted a photo of my Saltmarsh 1656 quite some time ago and was briefly puzzled since it’s about as stable as a barge. I did catch on.
Post a hot wife or girlfriend… Looks tippy?
Are you trying to say she’s top heavy? Big rack?
Sorry, I couldn’t resist… well, I guess I could’ve, but where’s the fun in that?
