How do the trust levels work? I checked the FAQ and guidelines.

Here is an overview of trust levels. Unlike relying on posts this system encourages real engagement before gaining access to more privileges.

Is it 50 posts to get to Level 2? It was a little unclear…or could be my eyes are a lil unclear. Haven’t had coffee yet!

Trust Level 2 – Member

Members keep coming back to your community over a series of weeks; they have not only read, but actively participated long and consistently enough to be trusted with full citizenship.

Get to trust level 2 by…

  • Visiting at least 15 days, not sequentially
  • Casting at least 1 like
  • Receiving at least 1 like
  • Replying to at least 3 different topics
  • Entering at least 20 topics
  • Reading at least 100 posts
  • Spend a total of 60 minutes reading posts

The “read time” will be funny to look at.

If you go to your profile summary page you can see all the metrics there… and yea the read time, don’t show that to your wife… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I like this. Seems like a far better “barrier to entry” than simply posting a certain amount of times!

I’ve always had trust issues, at least that’s what my wife says…

Is it worth relaxing the criteria required to post items for sale in the classified sections for a little while just to get those sections rolling? I would guess that those forums have the potential to drive a lot of traffic, and may slow some folks transition from old place to here.

@ZisMe We are really close to getting a subscription mechanism in place for this. I installed the plug-in today, we have to set up some accounting details next week. Please bear with us. it’s getting close!

Though I am not looking to sell anything or level up in status. I would absolutely give a donation or purchase a membership to help with the cost.

Seems odd, as I have liked, I have been liked, I have been stopping in, but for some reason I am not at level 2 (I don’t think) as I can’t post to classifieds. Is it just me?

You have to have 15 days on the site. You’re only at 5 currently
