Fought the wind, dealing with minor issues, but boat is perfect for these waters.

We have fished our butts off. All we have to show is a few flounder. I picked up 1 keeper and two shorts today. Yesterday I lost a 26” redfish at the boat. He went under the boat and my drag was too tight (snakehead drag is much tighter than redfish drag apparently). Would have been my PIB red too.

Nephew picked up one flounder today.

Still, it is nice to get away and it is absolutely beautiful. Kiptopeake State Park is a very cool place to stay as well.

An okay day with flounder. Biggest was 22”. In three him back because I didn’t feel like cleaning 1 fish.

East cape Lostmen went through some sloppy stuff. Despite her rep of being a wet ride she impressed me. I slowed down, trimmed right, and barely got splashed.

We head home tomorrow. Fishing was okay but the trip was great.
