I got very sick of messages from the old site with started topics. I could care less. I’m tired of started messages on Tibor reels. Hope you don’t do that on here
Sorry I’m not following you on this. What is the issue?
On MS you get an alert and it says so and so started this thread. So you think you got a like or response to your post but no you get an alert when someone starts a thread. Any thread. Most I don’t care about.
I never got those messages on MS. So unfortunately I’m not familiar with the notifications.
There are notification preferences in your profile settings. Check those out and turn off any notification you do t want.

Me either.
The only Email notifications I chose to receive here, is direct messages, which has been a blessing. The other one I got Emails on every comment.

When I spun up the site there are a bunch of admin/global user preference options. One of the ones I toggled off by default are the bloody email notifications. Personally I hate those. On MS I must have turned those off years and years ago as I never got a notification. Here, because I hated that kind of thing based on other forums I’m on, I made the executive decision to make them all off by default. If someone wanted to get a notification then they can go to their preferences and turn them on. Hope y’all don’t mind.

Heck no I don’t mind..lol.. I would get 30-40 emails a day from there. The new guys trying to get their count up was the worse, commenting on older threads that were long dead..

Check your settings preferences. You can choose what you do and do not receive alerts on.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I never get alerts except for when my phone rings or chimes from text.

Yes just got yours but I don’t get those started alerts
Are you using the mobile app or on the web?
If it is the app, do you have Notifications enabled?
Check your preferences, I don’t get anything like you are.
I use my phone and just got your alert. So I’ll check my settings
