Stake out pin/anchor

Did the guy making the stake out poles, from over yonder, make it here?
Wanna say he was from the Tampa area and Was offering different colors, wraps ect.

Is this the one you were thinking about?

I believe so.
I lost mine the other day, and would rather support one of us.
Appreciate it.

Not sure if he’s on here yet, Mike. If not, he needs to be.

I have a Stay Put motor mount bracket, but if I had to do it again, it get a double barrel from Halk Marine:

One barrel holds the stake out pole ready for use, then the other holds it in place when staked out. No having to get down off the platform and grab the stake out pole first.

A dude up by me makes them under the name mad mosquito outdoors.

I’ll check em out. We’ve actually got a local guy as well, he’s just not someone I care to support.

What sucks about all this, is I used to make em as well, but back then I could get two poles, shipped, for $25.
Then they got stupid with shipping prices on anything 8’ or longer. Now, For example, you can buy a kit for $45 but it’s $40 to ship it.

I’ve got a bracket I made that comes off my polling platform. It does ok on calmer days, but sticking the pole down and tying off with a rope works best. Problem is I lost the pole overboard, in deep water. So now I need a replacement. Figured if I could support a member vs Bass Pro, I’d take that route, seeing as how it’s no longer economical to make my own.
