Anyone have a list of plan providers? I’m looking to build a bare bones tech skiff similar to a Shadowcast 16’ out of cedar strips. Simple design without overly complicated spray rails or fancy hull designs. Thanks!

Just don’t add the upper spray rail. Continue the hull side up to sheer height. Simple hull as you can get to build other than total flat bottom no chines.

Chris, can that be done in plywood?
Yes,plans come in plywood,or core or aluminum
Here’s the simplest design to build.
This hull shape built in ply will float within 1” of Chittum challenger all carbon hulls. Will feel better though under foot.

I really like your plans in plywood. Everyone seems to build core. Didn’t think I would build another boat but maybe something as light, shallow and stable as my little scooter but could be poled in a straight line and a bit quieter.

Yes, nothing wrong with plywood, and its quicker to build. Just wont look quite as bristol as a nice fiberglass boat with rounded corners.
