My day today was a mix of…

Good: Prepped the skiff the night before, loaded the rods, set the coffee maker for 5:30am
Bad: Motor wont start at the ramp, drive to my mechanic at 6:30am, he aint open yet
Good: Mayport Mike arrives at 7am and agrees to look at my motor
Bad: he doesnt have the solenoid I need
Good: he Macguyvers one he does have and I’m good to go!
Bad: $95…
Good: head out and find the reds backing in the creeks! Found a skool of over 50+, got me 3 on the 6wt before I called it quits.

Overall- the day I needed away from work to “reset”. Time for a cold Dale’s Pale Ale

Any day fishing is a good day. Catching is “lagniappe” as the Cajuns say.
Coffee to start the day, made it back home to a cold beverage to finish. Counts as a win in my book!
