My Main Shaft just shrank :) PowerPole Move 60-45"

Hope this helps someone else…BTW, if you are too short, I’ll give you a great deal not eh 60"…

When I bought my MOVE, I made an error and thought the 60" would have been best for my application…I thought the longer shaft would be easier to grab and handle on the bow…I was wrong…I found the 60" was just a bit too long when in the shallows…my anglers were constantly hitting the head when trying to skip the baits in the mangroves…and it was on the edge of the deck when docking…

So, I made the decision and called PP and they sent me a new 45" shaft…yes paid for it…and I changed it out yesterday…I spoke with TROY and ALEX - who made the video on how to change it out…and I executed the install yesterday…

You just follow the video and it’s about 1. - 1.5 hours to change it out…and NO, it does not void any warranties.

They have created an amazing product…totally modular and easy to make changes…

In Summary…you do the following:

1.) Take off prop
2.) Unscrew the head unit
3.) Take off the head unit
4.) remove the motor unit
5.) insert the new shaft
6.) reverse the process.

Here are some pics of what’s inside…

difference …one of the things I didn’t account for, while the shaft is 45" to the bottom, the head unit and prop are another 12" from the bottom of the shaft…

Time will tell…will be out fishing next week…

ive wanted to cut mine but cant get up the nerve. i went with a 54 ZR so i could just grab rope in rough water. about 48 i think would be perfect on my vengeance.
let us know how that 45 works out.

You can’t just cut it like a MK…the shaft is plug and play. I will be fishing later this week and advise.
