We will run it after the show.
You gonna be at iCast Mac?
No, I will have my display set up on the Protos skiff. Iām going to be in the Bahamas working and fishing.
Life sucks
Theyāre making me go!
Awesome man! Go chase some bonefish!
Iām going to try to catch at least one too!
Which island? I may be in the area. @Smackdaddy53
Also if you are flying out ofor in miami and have a day lmk Iāll run you around the bay if im not in The Bahamas .
Abaco, we will arrange flights this week. Iām doing a turn and burn as usual. One Challenger install, 1-2 days bonefishing then home. I wish I had more time but Iāll be back in Florida again soon. Iām sure I will be there many more times.
Itās a tough life,ā¦but somebodyās got to do it.
Itās been a grind, trust me. When some people say āmust be niceā I have to laugh because they act like it was handed to me. Iāve been working towards this since around 2014 when the pickup system napkin drawings started. Iām so glad I didnāt listen to all the do nothings that tried to persuade me that this endeavor would never be fruitfulā¦anyone remember the guy that was telling us that lower units are water cooled and running these lower units high would cause failure??? What about the guys that said and still say that āremote water pickups have been around many decadesā like there was no room for innovation. Iām super blessed and grateful to be where I am and there is still a lot of work to do! But yeah, someone has to do it and Iām your huckleberry!
I absolutely believe you and would never be the āmust be nice guyā. I know the effort it takes, safe travels.
My grandfather used to say āCanāt never couldā - blinders and assumptions hold back innovations. There is a term in tech called āSchlepās Blindnessā - basically, opportunities exist because many people look past them thinking they are not worth solving.
I wasnāt directing that towards you, just making a general statement. Andy Frisella talks about it all the time and my first grade teacher always told us ācanāt never did anythingā. She was right!
Iām A big fan of Andyās, smart teacher BTW. Also a big fan of what Zephyr Cove Customs is doing BTW. To me itās like wow why was this not a thing a long time ago. But I also know R&D isnāt the easiest thing either. I look forward to getting my skiff finished and hopefully inline to get you to hook it up.
Ha! Remember way back when I told you (Mac) this would really fly if and when you got it patented? Well fast forward to now, and there you are. Rockinā and glad to see it. Beats the crap out of working in a hot dangerous chemical plant in Houston. Now if you can someday figure out how to make a 15" shaft Yamaha F70 and / or a 15" shaft length Suzuki 60 (preferably both?) you would have even more business than you can possibly handle. Good thing right? Just keep on keeping on brother. Doing all the good.
The harder you work, the luckier you get. At least that has been my experience and observation.
