Help me with rigging

Waiting on my Powerpole Move to be delivered and I have a couple smaller things to figure out to finish the rigging in the skiff.

Here’s the parameters: I had a battery box built to hold all of the TM rigging. Nothing will be mounted in the skiff except two pieces of hardware to strap down the battery box and the puck for the trolling motor. I also do not want to mount the charger in the boat. I found from my last boat that that stuff was really annoying when it came to performing maintenance, having unnecessary weight in the boat, etc. I also am thinking I might want to move the trolling motor between a stern mount and guide mount based on the fishing I’m doing - so I wanted the rigging to be somewhat portable.

For the last bit of rigging, I’m trying to decide if I should use a TM plug and how I am going to access the battery to charge it. What would you guys recommend? If I went with a TM plug, would I be able to rig a male end to the charger and just plug it in? How else would you suggest I rig up the charger to get into the box? Appreciate it Fellas!

I think an Anderson connector would be a good choice. They are offered in many sizes and made for doing what your needing.

I agree on the Anderson plug and for the trolling motor I’d go with a PowerPux. The only thing left behind if you remove the battery and trolling motor would be the wire from the puck to the battery location.

For charging I use a NOCO charger that has a disconnect and you can buy the pigtail comnectors and have them on every battery you want to charge and use the same charger. I have one and my trucks, mower, tractor and boat all have the pigtails. The charger handles any battery type.

One Anderson plug coming out of the battery box for the motor and charger ? or would you do two separate connectors?

I have a LBP charger that’s going to get mounted in the garage and probably thrown in the truck on longer trips.

The Anderson plug is just for battery to TM. The NOCO pigtail is installed on the battery terminals. You can still use other types of charger pigtails if you want. They just attach to the positive and negative terminals.
