Sorry this isn’t a marine ? Cause I’ve re-wired my trailer and lots on my boat
I was installing a GFCI outlet to replace one I thought was broken. Got it all wired up and the green light was on so I pushed it back into the wall socket and the light went out. I tried this several times but found a frayed wire was the problem. It’s 12 gauge but I only have 14 gauge. So I guess I have to get a length of 12.
Some times on the new outlets the green light is n when the power is good. If you push the button and the light goes off the g fi is tripped

That would be better than the 14ga. Just incase there is a high average draw. Is it a 20a breaker? If it is a 15a breaker the 14ga. would be just fine.

Welcome aboard @TextBookRob Glad to have you.
Thanks man that’s what I have researched
I don’t know the amps on my breakers for that line. I’m going to have my wife stand there on the phone while I flip the switches in my downstairs garage
