Welcome Bob
I wouldn’t mind seeing a few firearm pics, if you have any.

Welcome! Boats and guns, what could be better?!

Is Gulf Coast Clays up near Sarasota?
When I’ve shot in FL, I’ve been going w/ Friend here in St. James City who’s (a full timer) & member @ Belmont Shooting Club. … have another Friend from IN (also now full time SW FL) who has shot @ club up near Sarasota (unsure of name).

Heading home to IN Thursday, will do.

Both great places to spend money MO! …

East of Naples, by Port of the Islands on 41.

Thanks Loogie. I will make it point to check out.

Coming to you from S. IN ‘fishnpreacher’ … check a few pictures …

  1. 1903A3 Springfield ‘Sportorized’ 30-06. Built by / acquired from friend of my fathers. I remember shooting this rifle when I was roughly 10 (early 70’s now).
  2. Springfield M1 Garand
  3. Marlin 39A .22LR
  4. Bergara B-14R w/ AB Littlebird Suppressor (.22LR)

What’s the barrel length on that Marlin .22? That appears to be a long reach on that one! Nice firearms you have there!

I’ve had some collectibles, my fave is a Browning Light 12, Belgium made in 1953, with a solid rib 28in barrel.

RE: Marlin .22LR Barrel … it’s just a standard length barrel, I’d have to go measure to give you exact length. I think it appears long(er) from the angle i took the picture.

Fishnpreacher:

Browning Highwall 1885, have two, one in 7 REM MAG, and 22-250.

Cooper Single Shot, 204 Ruger

CZ 452, 22 LR, bolt action, extremely accurate.

1903 Springfield Sporterized, 30.06, built by family friend, shot my first deer with it in 1982.

That’s a bunch of nice arms!! I’m drooling as I type this…

Nice Loogie! … As I posted, my Sportorized 1903A3 was also built by family friend which means so much to me, as like my Dad, he served as a mentor to me! I see your 1903 did not have the stock changed out as mine did which also makes it interesting. … I also have a CZ-453 and like you, amazed @ accuracy. "Does yours have a “set” trigger as the 453 does?

452s no set trigger, was going to upgrade to a Timney but the trigger is very crisp and light. Those CZs with that real bolt are awesome. I also have a small 452 for kids, that I take on my Gheenoe on the lake in VA for otters…

Welcome from Vermont! Tight lines!
