ANOMURA interior

Getting final things done. Will be ready to start glassing the deck next week. Made patterns today for windows, filled screw holes, use resin and fairing powder mix as it bonds real well and minimal shrinkage.

Will sand everything Tomorrow, cut out windows finish up small projects and then get my mind set to get her glassed and faired.

You’re moving quickly!

Looking good!

Wow that thing is awesome!

Looking great!

Is the type of wood cut as a triangle and rounded supporting the ceiling Cherry? Nice interior accent regardless of the type of wood.

Thanks for the update, Chris. It’s progressing nicely. I imagine the slower phase comes next?

For me the glassing part to do it properly is a necessary evil. Filling and fairing is a test of one’s resolve.

Then painting is a both a pleasure and a very tedious period at the end of a build.

Installing the engine and hardware is like what women do when picking out what jewelry to wear.

The Toadfish will be ready for her first dance in September….

Watching this come together definitely gives one an itch to build as well. Cannot wait to see her hit the water.

Thanks for the updates. Looking great!

Why do you have holes in the hull?

That’s the bow anchor well. I like to stand in this well when retrieving the anchor rode. It’s a better angle for your back and all 300’ of 1/2” nylon rode and 100’ of chain all sits inside this well. The holes are big drain ports. I will glass them in. The two forward ones a line can be passed through them and then it will act as a tow eye for winching up a beach if wanting. You ever have all the mud, sea bottom smell mess inside the boat below with a setup like this. Will post pictures as it’s finished off.
