"Nice" inshore spinning rod

Zika,

thank you, I was mistaken, it’s GLoomis that was acquired by Shimano.

I remember there were several brand-names in the “Shimano” Giant booth area…

I remember seeing PowerPro booth within the display as well.

@BMahoney I believe star’s distribution was going through a change which may be why it was tough. Try again or go into haddrells. They have warrantied many star rods over the counter for me.

Yes, Loomis was sold to Shimano many years ago. Shimano also owns Power-Pro and Jackall Lures.

Wanted to add I recently purchased a couple TFO tactical inshore rods and they are pretty sweet wirh the discount from sierra. Got a light and a medium. I broke a couple rods recently and replaced them with these. The light one I love. The medium one I like a lot. For $100 you can’t beat them!

I throw Shimano Teramar xx both southeast and southwest versions

My buddy throws Phoenix black diamond these are nice good grip on them

Others I would look at that are not as common are Edge rods makes some nice stuff and you usually they have 40% off sales. It may take three months to get the rod or at least in the case of the fly rod, I ordered maybe they’re spinning stuff comes in quicker

I would also look at Sawgrass
