Whipray #7 for sale

Looks like an old member passed and his wifevis selling his skiff. It is on the old site. I didn’t know him but maybe some of you did.

RIP. I think that will be a low chine model, for those that care.

Sad to hear that - I remember the guy - flynut. I searched for posts from him that showed the boat, but could not find any.

I knew Doug for a long time, he was a very nice guy.

Was coming here to post this. Doug was always a pleasure to chat with. Hope his skiff finds a good home.

Pretty nostalgic piece right there. That would be awesome to have.

The museum should enshrine and bronze it! Oh, we don’t have a museum. Then Hell’s Bay should buy and preserve it. It would be a shame if someone bought it and adulterated it. Nice that you guys have an archive of pics! TJ

I have hull number 12, another low chine boat. There is sometimes a little hull slap when the wind is up, but it’s usually not a problem. On the flip side, I was running the ICW against a 15+ mph N wind right down the gut yesterday and stayed completely dry. The boat runs good.
