If it relies on a trolling motor to get around when on the flats, it won’t get to the majority of places I fish.

FWIW I don’t see people serious about sight fishing the flats considering this a viable alternative to a TPS. I certainly wouldn’t want to pole a flat on that. The way I see it, an angler on that won’t disrupt the areas that it can rationally access and fish any more than an angler in a powerboat with a trolling motor. Our problem with PWCs is the inconsiderate jerks who run blindly through anglers and fishing areas, not someone actually fishing off a PWC. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
For those many people who like to drift or troll large deeper flats in their bay barges, it would be a viable option. I’d rather see that on a deeper grass flat than a 25’ Dargel, a big X3, or a big Majek or Haynie. If I did that kind of fishing alone I’d certainly look into one.

Might get back in the back lakes under power, that’s the scary part. Just because it won’t float or pole doesn’t mean it can’t be an issue. Kinda like air boats and the big cat hull boats. I’m amazed at where the big boats can run. HP and crazy props.

This is the Beautiful part of being and American 
freedom of choice ! I personally like the deck space and design overall, id take that to the jettys to catch some sheep in a heart beat ! At that speed prolly a 5 minute run from my house 
minus that Damn Manatee Zone,i wouldn’t run it super shallow where it might foul the pump…..but i bet its close to 25k since that’s where the seadoo fish pro is price wise…I feel this will really appeal to us seniors that fish alone a Lot….

I actually might have bought one of those things for our lake house years ago when I spent the mornings bass fishing and the afternoons towing the kids on a tube.

Thats the problem, they aren’t serious about sight fishing a flat, they are ignorant about ethics and because they can they will rip through where they shouldn’t

This begs the question of how long it will be before a version like this will be classified as non-pwc and be allowed in areas like ENP and BNP? I think park rules restrict PWC but not jet boats.
