So this is what happens when you’re running shallow water and hit a crab trap. I have a carbon marine tiller extension and the impact allowed me to put too much pressure on the tiller arm and broke the internal handle. Luckily a new one is only $40. I’m also gonna try some JB Weld down on the inside of this and see if that will hold as well.

Thanks for the heads-up. But it is a boat, after all. 
As Capt Lemay always says “aren’t boats fun”. The JBWeld doesn’t appear to be holding but the new one is already on the way.

Ugh.. I know it’s just a matter of time before I find one. Atleast it’s an affordable fix.
