Man thats awesome! I don’t know why every bait well isn’t insulated and even the storage boxes if it would make for a cooler.

Welcome to the treehouse!
So I don’t remember who was brought here or on the other form someone said hey why don’t you get some fiberglass pipe into the PVC for the weep holes on the stringers and bulk heads. That exactly what I did filled them full of foam. So they don’t fill up with resin during the infusion. I mark an X on the glass to find them after and carefully grind the glass back. I use 2 part flotation foam to fill them it’s 2 lbs so grinds out extremely ez

So we upped the thickness of the bottom core to 1 inch and we’re using 8 pound density H 130 now that will be the standard practice for all 18 Isladia’s from now on. Because of the large bait well we’re putting in through hull low speed pick up, which is going to be solid glass. Six additional. layers of glass will be placed where the core has been removed. You can see the round cut out tapered. If you’re building a boat from scratch, you can do cool things like this in the infusion the less secondary bonds, the better

So cool to follow this
Very cool. I love that you guys learn and adjust. A lot of folks just fall into that production rut of rinse and repeat.
