Dad has become a very accomplished photographer. He sent this over today. Many of us have never seen a snail kite. Swallowtail kites are easier to spot and identify.

Great shots. Very cool bird. We had some Mississippi kites hanging around a couple years ago. Watched one kill a snake in the back yard. Unfortunately they haven’t returned.
Never seen one myself but its cousin the swallow-tail kite is my favorite bird always. It helps that they show up each year in late winter, right when the tarpon do in the backcountry… Great photos - at least I know what to look for now…
