I wanted to share my hack on protecting rods in the undergunnel holders. Driving to the Islamorada tomorrow so I secure the rods like this so they don’t get beat up on the long ride. Easy to remove after travel. I just use a razor to cut a flotation noodle.

Great Idea. Pool noodles come in handy for sure. I usually keep a 1’ section to cut up for random uses when I travel.

Great idea! I seldom trailer with rods in the rod holders, but I can see it being used while on the water. Where’s my razor knife?
