Show off your Macroskiff!

Come on, we all know you have one. Sometimes you need a little more room for family, friends, or rougher water.

Show off that “other boat” that doesn’t quite fit the “skiff” definition!

Oh, fine, I’ll get it started. . .

2000 Maverick Master Angler. She has had a full rebuild of her stern stringer system, new wiring, pumps, electronics, switch panel, and about everything else, but hull, trailer, and engine are original!

My son liked it so much he bought himself a matching redfisher. . .

1994 SilverKing. Lots of polishing and love to keep her as original as possible.

My wife still calls it “the little boat” but the Vantage isn’t afraid of anything. I’ve had days where I’ve poled it to tailing reds in the morning and then picked up the family to run across Tampa Bay to meet friends at the sandbar and pull kids around on a tube.

Wilson, thats the only boat I would consider if I ever had to replace my MA - which hopefully will never happen. Perfect boat for Tampa Bay too!

Love the Vantage platform. If it would fit in my garage I’d probably would have a VHP, but my Evo gets it done… :flexed_biceps:

That Evo is growing on me - sounds like it has a shallower draft. Guy up here owns one, and someday I’m going to bum a ride off of him.

@MaverickMA The X is skinny! The V can be skinny depending on how you have it optioned. Mine is on the heavy side (115, PP, Troller, 3 AGM, etc) so its not super skinny but its fast, dry and has a plush ride. Great all purpose platform if you run open areas.

@MaverickMA It really has been a great boat for our area! Love that Maverick too, those were tanks!

I seem to always be the odd ball boat with my catamaran Seagull 18. It is a pig to pole. But I have had her off shore a lot up to near 30 miles in blue water chasing pelagics and she can get into sub 11" on the flats. Not fast with the 90hp on it, 34 tops. But this boat has been awesome for me for more than 20years. All over S Fla, ocean, lakes, rivers, ten thousand islands, key front and back. I give up a lot not having a skiff but I get to do other things. Wish I had at least 2 boats… Here is a photo of the wife on the front, much better photo than me on it.

I’m on both ends of the spectrum. A 13 ft Gheenoe that I cut the gunnels down decked and added floatation and a floor ( it’s a genuine skeeter magnet), and Cobia 262 with twins that I can run out where the big fish live.
I’ll get some pictures up in a day or so.
