Anyone have a contact for a fly fishing guide in San Juan? I have all day there on the 31st of Dec. going to try and go fishing to catch a Tarpon on the last day of 2025.

No guide rec, but see if you can meet Dr Tony Mignucci and Guacara the manatee from the university. I flew with the manatee in a National gaurd C-130 out of Mcdill to the islamd then rode in the back of a box truck from one end of the island to the other. It was a “top secret” mission lol! Dr Mignucci may even know a guide if you don’t get any recs here. And make sure to eat some Chuleta can can!

Reach out to Capt. Francisco “Pochy” Rosario of Light Tackle Adventures in Boqueron. I have not fished with him, but know guys who have in years past and they all enjoyed their time on the water with him.
