Figured I’d share. Here in Fl you are supposed to have a flag on long items. I’ve been using this pvc one for a while now and it’s still here. Snaps on and off. Just cut a slot in the pvc like shown.

Link isn’t working @k3ande
Won’t allow pics from iPhone. We better fix that.
@Admin can you look into this when you can?
I just uploaded from the iPhone using Safari and the Discourse App. Both work fine. Maybe give time for the upload to finish before hitting the reply button?
I upload from iPhone as well. No issues.
My wife is a quilter. She sewed this flag together for my push pole adding an empty plastic thread spool in the end for an anchor. I cinch it down with a WM velcro strap and it’s worked well for 3+ years. Getting a little dirty, though. Time for a quick wash in Dawn.
I bought a spring hand clamp from Harbor Freight and put an 18” red nylon streamer on it. Clip it to end of the pole and go. Cheap, easy, fits all sizes of push poles.
Rubber GearTie and a red shop rag work well. The rubber grips really well and won’t slide. Not as fancy but works in a pinch. Use the same GearTie to wrap around platform/pole when tying off push pole
I do same but use a piece of plastic red table cloth left over from Christmas dinner. We have a roll so easy to replace when gets raggedy
That’s pretty cool @GeorgiaDrifter for south Florida would be cool to attach a flash bang to the end of that🤣
I think Monroe county are the only ones that will pull you over for this. Great safety item for sure, but if you’re going to the Keys…better have it.
A Keys Deer might rear end you and get impaled
What size of pvc is that? What kind of foam did you use?
Ok I got it to post from Mac. This is the way. This just snaps on and off and took like 5 min to make.
I use the flag made be New Moon and sold through various fly shops, it works well. One example here New Moon Push Pole Flag – Skiff Supply
