Noob to both the site and boat ownership. Recently purchased a 16ft wooden skiff that I’m refurbishing / updating.
It’ll be nice to finally not be limited to bank & pier fishing!

Welcome @CaptainInsane-O I think you’ll find this group more than welcoming. Nothing we like more than to hear about each other’s journey. We have a full range of folks - from absolute noobs to the guy that designed about 90% of the skiffs that are on the water. We benefit from everyone’s experience, and we laugh with each other’s stories of mistakes made and lessons learned.

Thanks for the welcome y’all. I will probably start a build thread but am not good at pausing to take pictures of my hobby / personal projects. Which is kind of weird because in my work life I have to document just about everything (Engineering Lab Rat).
