New Skiff Customizer opening in the Low Country

Met the owner at the last Casts & Drafts. Sharing it for those in and around the area.

Hey @iMacattack -

Can you give more details (or invite the owner to)? What work do they do? What is out of scope?

Knowing those involved with this company I anticipate nothing but top tier work and a top tier customer experience

That’s great to hear, BD - Would be nice to have a “Skiff shop” option up here!

“Customizer” is a broad description. I assume fabrication? I could use an old man’s sissy bar on my poling platform.

Hey! I resemble that remark! :joy:

There are a few other “skiff shops” around town currently. On the fly skiff Co. and lowcountry skiff shop.

Got to go over here for the official opening day and the shop looks great with projects already underway.

They will also be a dealer with inventory on site for marquesa push poles, blacktip stools, and others.

The owner is a long time client and friend of mine. I remember when he first had the idea and to see him get to this point hitting the ground running has been great!

I stopped by this morning too. I have a couple videos but waiting for “Official” ones to be posted first. Very cool to see the new shop, @BrownDog and @Tidalwaters-fishing were both there. I did get a little SkiffHQ representation going…

Forgot to add something cool I had never seen before:

They have 3D printers for making many of their disposable items (mixing trays, cups, etc) and can scale to the size needed
