Found this place recently, used to be on the old place probably 10 years ago when I had a Shadowcast 16. Sold it like an idiot and have been boat-less until recently, got busy with life, work, kids. Noticed a small skiff in town that never seemed to move from the same spot in the front yard, so I dropped a note in the mailbox, “If you ever want to sell that thing, give me a call”. I got a text from the guy about 5 hours later, checked it out, little sea trial, and $1500 later there was a 14’ Stumpnocker with a ‘99 Nissan 25 2-stroke in the driveway. Cleaned her up, added a trolling motor, rewired it, jack plate, did some lite engine work (plugs, coil, fuel filter/hose), and put some TLC into the trailer. Perfect boat for Upper Tampa Bay where we live. Will be able to dump the boys at the ramp in 7-8 years and let them go play.

Thanks everyone. Already mentally planning out the full resto/refit I want to do, but that’s a few years off for my own good. 3 boys under 5 years old doesn’t exactly lend itself to a full scale boat project. Once they’re a little older they can help dad so they have some skin in the game.
I’ve already decided this thing is never getting sold. We’ll eventually get a family boat, but this little rig is too easy and fun to use for me to ever get rid of it.
