So I MAY be teaching a few one week classes in Mobile. If this comes to fruition I’ll be looking to fish the area. I don’t know anything about the area so any general information regarding, skiff fish ability, nice place to stay that’s boater friendly etc… would be appreciated👍

when are you coming. I live in Mobile. Its a great fishery. Lots of different fish to chase year round depending on the season. Tripletail and spanish are heating up. Jacks are coming.

Thank you, I’m not sure yet because it’s still up in the air as to whether or not Sea School needs me. I will be teaching locally, Port Charlotte but Mobile’s not confirmed yet. As soon as it it is and I have dates I’ll reach out.

This time of year Jacks are heading up the bay. It Peaks in Mid August and lasts for about a month. Your just running the northern parts of the bay looking for birds.
Sam Glass at Flyway Charters is the man around here if you want a guide. He also rents out his Man Cave / Flyshop on AirBnb. Highly recommend if your going to be needing a place to stay.
