Louisiana cold water fly line?

Heading to LA mid November and don’t know if I need cold water lines.

I have all tropical lines. Will I need cold water fly lines?

I’m thinking may be able to get away with the tropical lines if it’s sunny and the shots are close.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Cold water fly lines really aren’t necessary unless you’re dealing with air temps colder than the mid 50s all day.

I did take a cortland cold redfish last year and needed it. We never saw 50 degrees when I was there. The line performed well and we caught fish.

The ocean temp will still be warm enough, so a cold water line isn’t needed. Even when the water temp hits the 60s here in Texas, I don’t use a cold water line.
