Seas were flat this AM but water was off color early. Got better as the morning went on, by 12 was really pretty. At one point we counted 50 boats off of Carysfort light so a pretty good crowd. In honesty seems like a lighter crowd this year than past especially on the way in.
We ended up with 12 for the wife and I which is the limit here. I must have let go of 15 that were an 1/8” short LOL.

Hell yeah!! My cousin and I have been trying like heck to get our schedules lined up for another trip down there.
Wow! I remember Carysfort Light from when I lived down there in the sixties. I can’t imagine seeing that many boats there. If I remember correctly?, there was no season or limit on bugs back then. We could go round up a couple dozen any time on the flats off Gables by the Sea.
Lobster leg and antenna meat has a fabulous flavor. When I pulled a lobster out of the steam pot, my wife would be standing there, to pull off the legs and eat 'em hot. When we had company for bugs, she told them all our lobsters were amputees! TJ
