That outboard is mounted very low. If you want speed you need to lift it as high as possible without overheating then start prop shopping.

If I had to guess, I’d say you are on the second from the top hole. Mount all the way at the bottom hole and get some shallow water scoops. I added them to my Tohatsu and they made a difference, but I also run a compression plate.
Each hole is 3/4” in apart. You may not even lose water pressure mounting all the way up, but if you do, the scoops will help.
You can get them from Jack Foreman or TR Machining.

I ran hole 3 the second highest when I had my MFS60 and YBS16p prop. For me, that was the best prop. Could squeeze a little extra mph with raising the jackplate to 1.5”.
I did not run the highest hole because I found it blew out too easy.
