I’m trying to start a build thread with a youtube video I made, but it keeps registering it as spam. Not sure what to do to make it better?
I fixed the post. You hit an automated spam protection protocol. You’re not doing anything wrong. Just because you’re a brand new member. The system will flag posts with a lot of links. Should be good now. Sorry.

I still can’t post additional links. What metric am I hitting so I know how to avoid it. I mean do I need to just post up on other threads for a few days to prove I’m not a bot? I’m not asking you to lift the protocol, it’s there for a reason, I’m just trying to figure out the sites new format. Thanks.

Sorry in advance since I’m the one that suggested you post your build videos. I subscribe to your YT channel and love watching your stuff. ‘Cha-Ching!’ 
This forum uses something called ‘Trust Levels’ to grant additional permissions to users. It’s based not on just number of days you’ve been a member or number of posts, but it looks at totality of your interactions. If you want to see a full explanation check this link out.
As you interact with the forum and members you’ll gain more “Trust” and more options are availed. Every member starts at a TL0 (Trust Level 0). It’s the most basic access. A lot of the initial bumpers or restrictions that people encounter is because of them being new. These are intended to limit spammers.
Couple weeks ago we were hit hard with about 500 spammers in a 4 hour period… at 3am no less. UGH! Took me hours to clean the mess. So these restrictions are important so that members are protected from their stupid games.
One way that you can “jump the queue” to gain more access is to become a supporting member. We started SkiffHQ on a simple mission, No Ads, No AI, No BS… and as my wife said… and our AMEX card. LOL
Becoming a subscriber helps to keep the lights on here. We believe that for $2.50 a month, or $30 a year or $300 for a lifetime membership it’s a small amount that has a huge impact in supporting our mission.
Signing up is TOTALLY optional. As you interact more you’ll gain more access.

I understand the trials and frustrations of trying to make this site what we know it can be. I hope you didn’t take my post as a gripe, but just a curiosity on how to proceed.
I just became a supporter. I’m not sure how active I will be, but just based on the past times I’ve enjoyed, and info I gained, from the previous site I think it’s worth it. Glad to help keep the lights on. Good luck with everything!
