Pup (Mavis) is one year old, she’ll complete her puppy training in a few weeks. It’ll be good to have her back tormenting the older dawgs and chewing things up

The old man turns 12 tomorrow and is about retired at this point. He does keep the kids snacks from hitting the floor though.

My shorthair just turned 3 and my setter is 10 months old. Working to get the setter “huntable” for the upcoming season. Spending an unhealthy amount of time daydreaming about bird hunting these days

Not my pup but a good buddy’s. That was her first retrieve on a hunt 2 seasons ago. I jokingly said after I shot that mottled wouldn’t it be wild if it’s banded. When she came back and we saw the band it was pretty special. Since then she’s been apart of some of our more memorable days in the marsh.
