very cool…I almost bought a HB Marquessa…but, I had a bit of a tax bill that I owed to Uncle Sam so I had to Pay DA Man…and my HB never came to fruition
The fit and finish is best in class !!!
Very happy for you…thanks for sharing…lots of fun to others successes.
I have had the Bob’s, T&H on the HPS, now a SEA Star Dominace (sp) the previous owner had it installed on my MA17 with the Mercury 115 XP pro, the one thing about the Bobs, it’s so easy to work on…easy to get to the pump since it’s external and easy to diagnosis if there is a problem…my $0.02
Been awhile since I had much to updater. Boats back in motion. Mounted the gas tank and rod tubes. The cockpick is in. Next step is bonding the cap on.
Nope, the transoms are still too short unless you only run channels or like grinding the prop and lower unit down hitting bottom all the time. I even tried to get a customer to have his transom built taller during the build and HB would not do it. Basically the whole prop below the hull and the platform built too low to lift the outboard. The strange thing I’ve pointed out is they rig tunnel and non tunnel Professionals the exact same height. Builders are slowly getting up with the times but some never will from the looks of it. They’re missing out on the true skinny water buyers.
This is a beautiful, well built skiff, not throwing shade on HB, just opinions and observations.
She’s moving over to rigging now! Starting to look like a real boat! They weighed her and she was 670 lbs. Advertised bare bones is 625. We have some extra rod tubes and under gunnel lighting and compartment lighting so I think we’re right in there with the extra equipment.
You’re going to love it. I’m sure I saw your skiff there when we picked ours up a few weeks ago. We hooked ours up and went straight to work! She was well slimed in less than 24 hrs
