I had an opportunity to cast a 1pc 8wt this weekend and was blown away. Also looking at a 4pc 7wt, but have not been able to find one in stock recently to try out. Can anyone shine any light on how the 4pc 8wt and 4pc 7wt cast in comparison?

Following. I have a 1pc marksman 11wt and a 10wt. The 11 is the best 11 I’ve thrown, the 10 is ok but not mind blowing (I liked the Zane pro1 better in 10wt). Curious what the consensus is for the other wt rods in the lineup

Got a chance to cast a Marksman Z in 11 and it was super nice. Feather light. Was paired with a Fortuna Regent reel and I could cast that thing all day!

I’ve cast the M Z, 4 piece, in both 8 wt and 11 wt. Both great casting rods. But I didn’t cast the 1 piece to compare, sorry.
