Headed north from South Florida to North Carolina to visit with @GeorgiaDrifter and fish the Tuckasegee River. Man was it cold for this South Florida boy! We did some sight seeing on Tuesday and then fished this morning, first part of the day in the water and the second part of the day on the water in Steve’s wonderful Montana Skiff (made by Hyde). Wonderful day, didn’t break my arm this year and actually caught a few fish! Steve knows his stuff and I learned a lot. Here are a few pic’s from the trip so far.
Nice, I have not fished that river in years
Pretty area and nice trout!
That’s bad a$$! Need to put that on my bucket list.
Awesome!
Glad y’all are having a great time. That last 'bow is a fattie!!
That river is a big reason why I don’t have a degree.
Nice!!
Bill, we sure missed you! Talked about you last night–your ears must have been burning!
Wow - Great report! I’m adding a trip like that to the bucket list as well! Thanks for sharing, Dave!

Love that river, well done
It was a fun few days with @DBStoots …we’ve not had any cold weather till he showed up.
Snow and low 20s at night. We powered through and caught a few fish despite the cold front. Here’s a few more snaps:
Great post and awesome pics!
