A friend of mine is looking for a fiberglass shop. Insurance claim hitting a turtle. Does anyone recommend a liable shop in Florida?

Where in Florida is your friend? Mike’s Marine Ways in St. Marks has done excellent work for me in the past. Carson at Shields Marina, also in St. Marks, is very good also.

Skiff Shop is the only place I would take mine. Shallow Water Restoration in New Smyrna Beach does solid work.

@MikeChamp12 - what type of skiff do they have? Ask the maker directly who they recommend. For example., I am in Texas and Hell’s Bay pointed me to FiberTex in Corpus - the company that makes Stiffy and are an authorized repair center.

Hells bay told him skiff shop but they’re too far out. He’s a guide and has a short window for the repair.

Scallywags in Stuart. Reliable - Fast - Honest
Went to the shop after a day of fishing in Stuart. Got the answers I wanted to hear. Left the boat for some Gelcoat repair and non skid on the deck and a repaid from the rub rail on down. 10 days start to finish and didn’t have to mortgage the house. Price was more than fair.
