I am looking for ideas for something to lay down in the bottom of the hatches that won’t allow gear or treys to slide around. Need to be able to dry out easily also I guess. What are you guys using? Thanks!

I got a few of these. It’s kind of a flat plastic mesh.
Duragrid makes several versions of industrial matting, including runners and interlocking squares similar to Dri-Dek at a lot more affordable prices. At least they were the last time I bought them. Raised off the bottom and textured tops. Hard plastic boxes may still slide a bit, but easy to clean and durable.
I lined all my hatches wirh Dri-Dek tiles. At the time I didn’t know there was a cheaper knockoff but happy with my decision. All my leftover I used to line my dad’s anchor hatch and works great there too! It’s easy to work with and you can cut to fit. Protects the glass, dampens noise, helps keep things raised if water gets in there win-win!
Dri-Dek tiles
Knock-off dri-dek style tiles from Amazon are the way to go. Have done them in my last three boats.
