I think I saw one posted on marketplace. But that’s about all I know on it.
If it’s this post, you’re looking at here’s my five second observation.
The boat looks like it’s kept in the garage however it has tree debris inside of the hatches. It bothers me that the owner would not clean that up before taking photos. The garage seems somewhat organized, but still a mess I would expect the boat to be kept the same way. It doesn’t look bad for a 2009 but pictures can be deceiving, plan to replace that engine.
If you think you’re serious about it, have him send you a picture of the HIN and then reach out to Hells Bay for information on that boat.
At the 35K asking price I would be more inclined to purchased a newer used boat unless that Boca grande provided something of value other than Hells Bay name.
Good news about that old is any manufacture imperfections should be very apparent at this point.

Up here in Hills Beach Maine a peninsula in southern Maine at the mouth of the Saco River. I’ve been fishing here for the past 25 years, 21 foot cc, kayak, canoe, and wade. Saco Bay with beautiful islands in front and Biddeford Pool/Back Bay in our backyard. Pristine and so lucky to have this. Every year is different. Yes the stripers follow the bait, herring, and then mackeral, sand flies and pogies. Sometimes schools in the back that only my john boat can reach. So fun to watch the guides in their lager boats watch me catching them from deeper waters… Sometimes right out in front. Past days I would get tired catching them, 75 fish wkds not unusual. No more of course. And lately, last year all large fish over 35". Fun yes of course, but not a good indication. Though 2 yrs ago I did catch 8" fish after fish on a late November day in the estuary.

We’ll see. Stay tuned.

Sounds like a good boat, versatile and shallow. The question I have is why is it not more widely known? Maybe give HB a call and get some more info.

I was trying to put this post in the Maine to Georgia post. Will try again. Not sure what i did wrong?
