Another Kennedy build

This was my first Kennedy Build. Prior to this, I had only helped others build theirs, and after buying a house, settling down and finally having a space that I could actually build my own, I dove in. Unfortunately I don’t have a ton of pics but will share what I do have. This one wasn’t Free initially, but $350 scored the Boat/Motor and Trailer.

On to Demo.

Onto transom and layout. This build was little heavier with 1/2” Doug Fir Marine Ply throughout. But she was solid!!

Time to flip and Paint. On this one I used Rustoleum Topside paint, rolled. Gray for the Hull, White topside.

And the end result

It’s crazy what you can accomplish with a vision. The lines of her sitting in the water just scream poling skiff. Great build!

Came out real nice, I’ve never fished a Kennedy, but it sure looks like a fish machine.
