Some stills from launching video. Toadfish weighs 2200 lbs here all up as seen. 2300 lbs more displacement load volume left to go to get her to float on the designed load waterline. Every inch more of draft equals 680 more lbs + loaded.
My skiff is my Ultimate 12’3” skiff design. I left the engine down for added drag to see how it would affect the speed.
By the looks of her I would say her name is appropriate. She already has the nickname “squat fish “

Congrats Chris. Fun times on the horizon. I remember my days in the Pacific Northwest fondly. Cool area, pun intended.
Nothing like being out on a boat and nothing like the warmth of wood heat and to have both it sounds like heaven.
