Finished glassing skin on. It’s 2 layers 1-1/2 Oz matt with 7 Oz cloth on top. Material is lapped 3” both sides of outer chine. I used boatyard polyester ortho resin. Cost me $35.00 a gal. Here in BC. Really nice resin. I had a gal left over from last years project and still in new condition. Took 15 gals. Resin and 1/1/2 gal resin to mix up fairing putty.
I will fi er this week. Going to paint topsides with Interlux Brightside paint. Deck will get Awlgrip because I have a gal. Kit left over from my sailboat. It’s in the cans never opened 7 years old. Trying to use up all my stuff. Going to use all my sanding contraptions, techniques to knock this out this week. Still cool out here till after 2:00. Then it’s around 70 degrees but 75% humidity so nothing like what I am used to in Florida, Bahamas etc. I feel for you all…….
