Thank God for the bravery of those men in those skiffs. Put my flag out first thing this morning in their honor and for their sacrifice.

My grand daddy was probably the toughest man I’ve ever known. Gator hunter, gladesman, moon shiner, net and whip maker, etc… The only time he’d ever shed a tear was when his memories would take him here.

We’ve almost lost that whole generation. They were more badass than any of us ever thought about being.
We salute them, and those whole follow.

I saw a sign once that said

“if you can read this, thank a teacher; if you can read it in English, thank a vet”

That one always stuck with me.

My grandpa did Omaha. I remember being about 5 and asking him if he got to shoot anyone. Looking back as an adult, I really wish I could have taken that one back. He was nice about it, but come on, baby Pirate, not cool.

Real men.. That weren’t even old enough to legally drink by today’s standards. True patriots!!
And now today’s men wanna wear dresses and compete in women’s sports.
Where in the hell did we go wrong?
